Artwork by Donald Burnett

Donald Burnett

Donald Burnett says he has always painted, though stints in the army, acting in a television series and his business career diverted him for a time. He is devoted to the outdoors and paints both on location and in studio. His paintings are a kind of poetry for him capturing the beauty of the moment of the visual encounter. His landscapes show the color and forms of the places he visits, including annual trips to New Mexico.
