Sherrie McGraw

Taos artist Sherrie McGraw began her art education in Oklahoma and later moved to New York to attend the Art`s Student`s League. She studied painting and drawing with David Leffel and eventually became his life-long companion. Sherrie McGraw`s subject matter ranges from interiors, landscapes, and still lifes to figurative work. Her well-known classical approach to oil painting has won her many awards and recognition over the years. Sherrie McGraw has taught at the Art`s Student`s League, the Fechin Institute in Taos, and given many private classes to individuals.
